XYLENE

Xylene, dimethylbenzene or xylol is any of three isomers of dimethylbenzene; ortho, meta and para. It is a clear, colourless and flammable liquid with a sweet smell.

Applications:

It is an important solvent used in the printing, leather, pesticides and rubber industries. Furthermore it can be used as a cleaning agent for silicon, steel and as a thinner for varnishes, paint, inks and adhesives.
